I suddenly would like to come up with my own list of 10 favourite movies of all (my) time. It is a tough choice. A list of 10 is not long enough. And I can’t even pick the order. I like them all. Anyway, here is the list:

# The Usual Suspects
# American Beauty
# Twelve Monkeys
# The Sixth Sense
# Interview with the Vampire
# Memento
# The Shawshank Redemption
# The Matrix (I, II & III)
# The Thirteenth Floor
# The Butterfly Effect
# The Fight Club

I know this is cheating. Firstly there is 11 movies in a list of 10. Secondly I stuck The Matrix I, II & III into one slot (but I really treat them as one big movie). Well, it is really hard to choose which to cross out. If I really have to, I might pick “The Thirteenth Floor” because it has the least attractive ending out of these 11 movies.

Who else could have been on the list? I might pick Godfather (also I,II & III to be completed), Back To The Future (of course also I, II & III), The Others and The Hours.

i could not name 10..could be more. Godfather (definitely my all-time favourite) and tons from martin scorsese (taxi-driver), tim burton, quentin tarantino, lord of the rings..and many more. i m no good with names. your selection is slightly different than mine. ;-) but good choice!

lord of the rings should be good too, but it is really a bit too too long for me. I tried to watch Godfather I,II & III in one go. I also did that for Matrix I, II & III. For both cases, I almost blinded myself.

Maybe I should try to watch all 6 movies of Star War.

great choice guys!~
but mine is also slightly different from yours.
lord of the rings 1-3
star wars 1-6
edward scissorhands
corpse bride
A.I.
Se7en
Amadeus
braveheart
the green mile
gladiator

lord of the rings is on top of my list. i m very much impressed with star wars being produced in 1977. the storyboard is very forward at that age. tim burton is also my favorite cos he has been soooo creative all these years. as a woman, i m also in love with heroes like Maximus in gladiator and Wallace in braveheart!!
i cried so long after watching A.I. and green mile.

you are right. I also like A.I. very much, but it sort of drag me to a no where land which makes me feel too hollow.
